The treatment process step-by-step
Step 1
The treatment takes about one hour, which includes a detailed consultation with your doctor.
Step 2
First, we apply two small local anaesthetic injections to the neck to minimise discomfort.
Step 3
We take a blood sample from your arm and extract the PRP. This is placed in a dry incubator to obtain the Plasma Bio-Filler.
Step 4
We use a cannula to administer the Plasma Bio-Filler into the neck.

Post-treatment instructions
- You may experience a small amount of bruising and/or swelling. This should go away in a day or two.
- It is advisable not to apply makeup to the neck for 24 hours or so.
- Over the next four weeks, try not to apply strong pressure to the neck.
- Drink 1-2 liters of water a day for optimum results.
- To maintain your results, we recommend a booster session as needed (approximately every 3-6 months).

Patients should not be treated with PRP/Plasma Bio-Filler if they have abnormal platelet function, chronic liver disease, or clotting disorders.
As with all injection procedures, risks include bleeding, infection and nerve damage.
The bio-filler gel is derived from the patient’s own blood. Therefore there is no risk of immunogenic reaction or disease transmission.
We will usually ask you to a review appointment 14 days after the treatment. There is no charge for this review.
