About Lip Filler Augmentation

Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that rejuvenates and adds plumpness and volume.

At your consultation, you and your doctor will discuss what you want to achieve in terms of lip shape and volume. To date, the majority of clients have opted for a natural look.

The treatment process step-by-step

Step 1

This treatment takes about 45 minutes, which includes a detailed consultation with your doctor.

Step 2

First, we administer a local anaesthetic (dental block) into the gums to numb any feeling in the lips.

Step 3

We then make a series of small injections of dissolvable hyaluronic acid filler into the lips. We use the thinnest industry-standard needles available on the market in order on the market in order to minimise discomfort and reduce downtime.

Post-treatment instructions

  1. You may experience minor bruising and/or swelling. This should go away in a day or two.
  2. It is advisable not to apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours or so.
  3. Over the next four weeks, try not to apply strong pressure to the lip area.
  4. Drink 1-2 litres of water a day for optimum results.
  5. For ongoing maintenance, we recommend a repeat session as needed (approximately every 9 months).
