The appearance of the jawline and chin tends to soften over time, loosening the skin and blurring the facial profile. This treatment firms up the skin and restores a more defined outline, sharpening the angle of the jaw and creating a more striking appearance.
You will see some results as soon as the treatment is finished. The full effects will develop over the next four weeks. The results will normally last for around 12–18 months.
The treatment process step-by-step
Step 1
This treatment takes about 45 minutes, which includes a detailed consultation with your doctor.
Step 2
We apply numbing cream and make a small number of local anaesthetic injections into the jawline.
Step 3
We then place small amounts of dissolvable hyaluronic acid facial filler into the jawline and chin. This is done using a combination of needle and small cannula.

Post-treatment instructions
- You may experience minor bruising and/or swelling. This should go away in a day or two.
- It is advisable not to apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours or so.
- Over the next four weeks, try not to apply pressure to the area around your jaw and chin.
- Drink 1-2 litres of water a day for optimum results.
- For ongoing maintenance, we recommend a repeat session as needed (approximately every 12-18 months).
